Hey guys! How’s life on the other side? So I have a funny story to tell you today. I want to share my first real designer handbag experience and why I audibly gasped.
So I’m at Dillard’s this past weekend and I noticed they have vintage designer bags. We’re talking Prada, Gucci, and Louis Vuitton here.
I gazed at them, found a lovely pink Prada purse I liked, and checked the price.
I gasped. Like an actual audible gasp.
The prices STARTED around $2,000. These are vintage used bags mind you! You know what I can buy with $2,000!? A lot! You have to understand I’ve never seen a real designer bag in my life, no kidding!
I touched the bags all over. I resembled a kid loose in a candy store. I just wanted to see what a $2,000 bag felt like.
You know how it felt?
To be honest it felt the same like my $50 H&M bag (which by the way is on sale for $35 now!). The Prada bag felt maybe a tad bit nicer.
Now I have nothing against people who own such expensive purses. Hey, you do you boo. But for myself, I’d rather spend thousands of dollars on a trip to Europe or buy out a pizza restaurant and throw a giant pizza party. Or maybe just pay off a fraction of my student loans. *cries in student loans*
You get me?
So now you know my story and how my first real handbag experience went. Exciting huh?
To combat the shock of those prices, here’s a gorgeous Forever 21 maxi ivory floral dress for less than $30.
So what are your thoughts on this article? What do you think of this Forever 21 dress? Let me know below in the comments!
