Hey friends! So I’m in a boat of emotions right now. I’m facing some inner deep wounds too long ignored, and I’m still going through the pain. One day I’ll tell you the story if you can hold out on me! Let’s just say high school and drill team did a working on me.
But on to more pleasant things!
I’m slowly introducing less summer pieces and more fall looks starting with this olive green pant outfit.
If I may be honest, this isn’t my favorite outfit, partially because it’s not summer lol! I feel like you can sense the unpleasantness in these photos.
Why did I wear this then?
Well it was one of those moments where all my favorite pieces were dirty because I was too lazy to do laundry. And I try to give love to all my clothes in my closet, even my least favorite pieces. And I want to be honest with you guys, letting you know that even I have off days.
Don’t get me wrong, I love these green loose pants. They’re comfortable, breezy, and flattering. But I can never figure out how to style them right. Commonly, I see other women tuck denim tops, graphic tees, or other loose tops into these pants, and they look amazing.
Why don’t I try that? Well you see I don’t like tucking shirts into pants or skirts. I’m weird about clothing tight around my waist. That’s why I added this breezy white top instead.
So I bought this outfit together at Dillards during their back-to-school sales. Unfortunately they’re both out of stock, but I searched high and low to find similar items for you guys. And don’t worry, I never show you guys extremely expensive options. I understand the struggle.
