Hey fam! In honor of the Halloween spirit, I’m sharing a true ghost story of my haunted experience. I don’t know if you guys believe in the spirit world or ghosts but I hope this changes your mind. Ghost are real y’all. And I don’t just mean the Holy Ghost.
So this story takes place a few years ago when my best friend lived in a small rental house. Now a little backstory on me. Before this event I’ve never experienced any hauntings before. I explored the most haunted hotels and dived into the scariest graveyards and nothing. Like I didn’t feel creeped out or sensed anything. Ghosts hate me y’all.
I’m unapproachable to guys and ghosts (Ha!).
Now my friends and family on the other hand have experienced everything ghost related: my sister was poked, my mom saw an apparition, my friends seen and heard ghosts. And there’s me. Either i’m so aloof and just never paid attention or I have some force field deflecting all the spirits.
Now that you know my lack of spirits backstory, you’ll understand why this experience was such a big deal to me. Also this house she lived in is in a town called Cherokee Village. You can assume why.
At first it was little things: a lamp turning on by itself and my phone battery draining. I didn’t put the two together at the time.
Now the main event happened in the morning. She was taking her daughter to school, leaving me in her home all alone. I was asleep on the couch, back turned.
I heard footsteps. Loud, grown adult footsteps. I actually felt the footsteps and heard the floor creek. Assuming it was my friend back home, I didn’t think much about it. The footsteps continue.
After this happening for a few minutes, I realized something was off. I turned around and no one was in the house. Dead silent. I tried to sleep. The footsteps and several other sounds continued. I turned around again, and they stopped.
I heard a loud crash in the kitchen. At this point I was hiding beneath the covers.
Finally after a few minutes I called my friend.
“Hey I think there’s something up with your house. I heard footsteps.”
She replied “Oh yeah, they’re probably the spirits of the house.”
Apparently she experienced some spirits too. She just forgot to tell me lol.
So why did I tell you my ghost story? First, ghosts are real my friend. Two, always ask your friends if they’re home is haunted!
So what did you think of my story? Have you experienced any spirits or hauntings? Let me know below in the comments!
