Hey gang! So originally I planned to release a serious, long post over life advice as well as a short story, but life happened. It’s funny how you articulate every detail of your schedule only for life to laugh in your face.
Well for a little update, I just returned from an overnight trip to St. Louis (Dillon Francis was awesome!) only to jump on the road again to Austin. Gosh, I didn’t realize the mental exhaustion I’d experience.
Don’t get me wrong, I love it!
I love to travel, driving into a new adventure. I just didn’t realize how soon the next trip would be, thus not giving me any time to finish my post.
So here I am at a crossroad (dramatic af). Speedily finish my life tip or scream plot twist and create a Coffee Talks episode (as seen here and here).
So here we are, me creating this post in a random hotel room at 10:30 pm.
One of the reasons why I love this series is because I can create without purpose, business, or any seriousness. Do you enjoy reading for the sake of reading? Not for a specific purpose but for fun?
Sometimes I feel like when you’re always writing for a specific purpose or guidance, you start to lose the creativity and magic. Everything is too serious, too strenuous. Let’s just go back to the enjoyment of writing and reading.
Wow, I really went off there. Do you feel strongly about a specific topic? I’d love to hear it!
Right now my HGTV House Hunters show came on, and a couple is searching for a house for a million (haha, just a million lol). So I’m going to let you beautiful people go, but tell me what you think of this episode?
